release and hello!


hello!

i have officially released a full game. while it'd be nice to grow this some more, my only goal was to say that i have finished and released a game.

i don't expect money for this, but i would like to know how much i shold expand on it and seeing $1 come in really does show me that there is big interest.

  • i want to add way more objects to find, i want to allow the player to play with certain themes "ocean theme"/"study theme", or different effects like greyscale to make it more challenging.
  • i also really want to overhaul the art style and make it look like it's drawn on lined paper.
  • uploading it to Steam and Google Play would be a cool thing too, but i'd want it to be in a far more polished state.
  • now this is just scope creep... but what if it was a timed multiplayer battle to see who can find the most? now i'm just daydreaming but 👀

behind the scenes things i want to work on:

  • i manually add objects to a list to choose from, but i would like to make it automatic. i know there is a function for it by using tags, but it's just not working as it should...
  • i have too many magic numbers everywhere, defining bounds, defining line padding, it's a mess
  • lots of UI and scaling issues that i want to fix up
